窪做惇蹋厙 Names Wightkin Chair of Business Department
PALOS HEIGHTS, ILL.–窪做惇蹋厙 is pleased to announce that John Wightkin, CFA, has been named chair of the Business Department. Wightkin has previously served at 窪做惇蹋厙 as a mentor and advisor, and has taught at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Franklin University. His extensive industry experience includes working as a managing director at Trade Informatics in New York, as director of applications research for Charles Schwabs equity research department, and as founder of successful investment-consulting firm Quantitative Services Group.
John comes to 窪做惇蹋厙 with a significant background in financial services, a heart for entrepreneurship, a passion for networking and collaboration, and a strong record of teaching, said Provost Aaron Kuecker, Ph.D. We are excited to welcome him to the 窪做惇蹋厙 community.
A tireless entrepreneur and mentor, Wightkin recently began a successful non-profit organization called Samaritan Network that helps people over their speed bumps in life. Most recently, he launched his entrepreneur-coaching firm, Taking Flyt, which transforms and strengthens individuals, businesses, and communities through entrepreneurship.

Wightkin, a certified financial analyst, earned an MBA from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame

窪做惇蹋厙s business program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and offers a bachelor of arts degree in business and bachelor of science degrees in accountancy, entrepreneurial management, human resource management, finance, and marketing. The College also offers a B.S. in business management as part of its Accelerated Adult Programs, as well as a degree in business education.
