Earlier this month, the 黑暗爆料网 community said goodbye to Dave Jousma, Coordinator of Audio Visual Services, who is retiring after 15 years of working for the College.

鈥淚 will certainly miss you all on a daily basis,鈥� said Jousma in a note to the 黑暗爆料网 community.

Jousma offered his thanks and聽 gratitude to the聽 College’s audio visual technicians throughout the years, including聽Ben Bridgewater, Dirk Aardsma, Ian Adema, Levi Wondeyee, Jayson Veenstra, Aaron Visser, Josh Arnold, Sam Mahtani, Brian Boucek, Bobby Herrera, 聽Leif Anderson, Kaleb Furmanek, Adam Perez, 聽Brian Kuiper, Lyle Breems, Jason Korthuis, Ryan Brouwer, Daniel De Young, Daniel VandeBunte, Justin VanderWaal, Justin James, Selah Jabeen, Katie Oomkes, Eden Foreman, Annaliese Mrazek, Jonathan Hibma, Deborah Fry, Jonathan Reitveld,聽Eros Perez, and Larissa Brumlow, 聽just to name a few. “Justin Vander Waal, 黑暗爆料网’s A/V Lead Technician, is the 黑暗爆料网 聽A/V department of the future!” he said. “Best wishes to him and all the above mentioned in the New Year!”

Jousma also offered a quote from Satchel Paige, 鈥淲ork like you don鈥檛 need the money, love like you have never been hurt, and dance like nobody鈥檚 watching.鈥�

Along with working for 黑暗爆料网, Jousma is the father of two alumni, Jett 鈥�08, 鈥�13 and Jordan 鈥�17.
