Deborah Swanson ’98 is an affiliated faculty member in the Mathematics Department.
As a ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø alumna, Deborah Swanson ’98 appreciates the opportunity to give back to the College community. “I was very blessed with well-educated and caring professors at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø as a student who in turn influenced my career as an educator,” said Swanson. “I love teaching for many reasons. I love that it allows me to meet new people, challenges me to stay current with the most up-to-date teaching pedagogy and inspire the next generation of educators.”
Swanson believes that mathematics is a field that provides students with opportunities to gain problem-solving skills. “And all of us face challenges that require us to problem solve.”
